The official start of summer is just around the corner and the weather is really starting to feel like it. This week Southern California has been facing June gloom, which has filled afternoons with overcast skies and nights with a chilly breeze but I’ve been swimming on a few of the hotter days this month. I don’t expect the weather to stay gloomy for too many more days. My friend has a pool on the roof of his apartment that has been a great place to burn the weekend hours. After sliding into the pool and catching my trunks on a raised lip on the pool deck, the fabric ripped. A hole in swim trunks is not a good look so I quickly bought a new one online after getting home.
While doing that my girlfriend came over to see what I was doing. She too wants new women's swimwear but not because of a hole. She just wants a new style of women's swimwear. Buying swimsuits this time of the year is a popular tradition. I’m sure online retailers are seeing huge spikes in sales. We ended up ordering new women's swimwear along with my new trunks.
